An important update for EU–Türkiye trade and investment

With the recent decision of the EU Council, the EU -AEO program and Türkiye’s Authorized Economic Operator (AEO / YYS) system are now mutually recognised (https://lnkd.in/dZbyqz65 ).
This is a technical but meaningful step.
For companies based outside Türkiye that are considering investment, production or supply chain operations in Türkiye, this decision provides an important signal of trust and alignment with EU standards.
Companies holding AEO/YYS status in Türkiye are considered reliable and compliant trade partners and their status can be officially verified through the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
